Job summary

Leanis Solutions Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on engineering leader to own technical delivery end-to-end. You will lead three developers and co-write the Go backend with the Senior Go Engineer, owning the most critical systems — the core ledger, funds-movement logic, and provider integrations—and you will review every PR.

This role demands architectural leadership, Terraform-managed AWS infrastructure, and a strong security/compliance posture, including PCI-DSS controls and data

Role overview

You own technical delivery end-to-end. You lead the three developers and co-write the Go backend with the Senior Go Engineer. You personally own the most critical systems — the core ledger, funds-movement logic, and provider integrations — review every PR, set the architecture, and own the AWS infrastructure and the security/compliance posture. This is a hands-on leadership role, not a pure management seat.

What you will own

• The critical financial systems: the double-entry ledger, funds-movement and treasury logic, and the custody / card-issuer / KYC provider adapters.
• Architecture and standards: the modular-monolith design, the adapter pattern, the outbox and reconciliation model.
• Every PR: code review, technical risk, and delivery quality.
• AWS infrastructure: ECS Fargate, RDS, ElastiCache, ALB — provisioned with Terraform.
• Security and compliance posture: PCI DSS controls, PII encryption, key management, audit logging.
• The team: sprint planning, mentoring, performance, and stakeholder expectations.
