Job summary

Sanmina-SCI Systems (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (Technoplex Penang) is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop and deploy scalable web applications using Node.js and React.

You will work with the DBA team to ensure Oracle and Postgres databases run smoothly and perform complex SQL tasks. You will collaborate with cross-site teams, modernize legacy systems, and help migrate towards containerized and cloud environments, while providing remote support during off-hours for critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / or related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT or system development.
• Experience working within Manufacturing Shop Floor and/or Supply Chain environment ( MES, Inventory, Automation and Production Workflow )
• Strong track record of working with distributed teams across different sites.

Responsibilities

• Design, Develop and Implement scalable web applications using Node.js and React.

Working with DBA team on maintaining smooth operation of system databases ( Oracle / Postgres )

Collaborate with cross functional teams across different sites for projects

Maintain and modernize legacy systems while transitioning towards containerized and cloud environments

Require to provide remote support during off-office hours on urgent manufacturing system issues

Qualifications Required: (Education, experience, skills, etc. Please be specific)

Proficiency in Node Js and React Framework

Familiarity with Linux, Docker container and Google cloud environment

Understanding legacy programming languages ( C, C#, ASP ) will be added advantages ( for system migration )

Understanding cutting edge AI technologies will be added advantages
