Job description

• To work closely with Software Developer and System Analyst in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications
• To prepare and document the program requirements and specifications
• To research and document requirements of program users
• To write, translate and code software programs and applications according to specifications
• To run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, areas for improvement and general debugging
• To develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines
• To receive guidance and direction from the senior software developer or system analyst
• To perform other work related duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Minimum 5 years hands‑on working experience in software programming

Skills Required

• Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
• Experience working on Kubernetes such as Redhat OpenShift, Rancher
• Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, DB2, MSSQL, Postgres
• Working knowledge of various tools, open‑source technologies, and cloud services
• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps
