Ideal candidate has 6+ years in Smart COBOL with Policy Asia, strong SQL/DB2 and a solid SDLC background, ready to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years hands-on Smart COBOL development with the Policy Asia system.
• Strong SQL/DB2 development experience.
• Experience in General Insurance applications and business processes.
• Understanding of system integration and data flows within Policy Asia.
• Proficient in SDLC from analysis to support.

Responsibilities

• Provide development/enhancement, maintenance, and production support for the Policy Asia system.
• Analyse business requirements, assess system impacts and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Support and maintain General Insurance products and related business functionalities.
• Perform detailed analysis of system problems and recommend effective solutions.
• Ensure solutions are robust, maintainable and aligned with business requirements and system standards.
