Job summary

Seagull Cooling Technologies in Selangor, Malaysia seeks an experienced Senior Project Engineer to coordinate and supervise cooling tower projects from initiation to handover. You will ensure resources, schedules, and budgets align with contract requirements and safety standards.

You will lead site teams, coordinate with suppliers and clients, review progress, manage risk, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture or related field.
• 5 years of cooling tower erection, service and dismantling experience.
• 8 years of technical knowledge in mechanical, site supervision and HVAC systems.
• Strong leadership as Team Leader / Senior Project Engineer.
• Good understanding of contract review and company standards.
• Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
• Strong English and Mandarin communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise, and implement ongoing projects.
• Ensure recognize revenue and collections for all ongoing projects on time.
• Monitor project cost to be within the budgeted cost.
• Oversee and coordinate site activities to ensure project work is executed according to the approved schedule, project requirements, specifications, and established workflows.
• Lead the resolution of site issues and non-conformities, coordinating with multiple parties to implement corrective actions.
• Participate in and coordinate kick-off meetings, site meetings, and project-related meetings with clients, vendors, factory, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure effective project execution.
• Oversee site inspection, testing, and client acceptance activities, ensuring all required works are completed and outstanding issues are resolved before handover.
• Review and ensure completeness of site-related project documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, checklists, photographs, non-conformity reports, and other required documents.
• Ensure site activities comply with safety requirements, company policies, project procedures, and established workflows.
