Job summary

VCS Interior in Malaysia is recruiting a Site Supervisor to oversee daily on-site operations for design & build and interior fit-out projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to maintain workflow and ensure work aligns with design specs and schedules.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of site supervision experience, a Diploma/Certificate in construction-related fields, knowledge of local regulations, and strong English/Bahasa Malaysia communication; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 3–5 years of site supervision experience in design & build, interior fit-out, or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local regulations in Malaysia.
• Familiar with reading technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Ability to lead work teams, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and solve on-site issues effectively.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• CIDB green card required; OSHA/NRP safety certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work extended hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site operations to ensure work aligns with design, specifications, and project schedule.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, tradesmen, and suppliers to maintain smooth workflow.
• Monitor progress and resolve site issues promptly to avoid delays.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship quality and compliance with industry standards.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities during inspections or site meetings.
• Support the project team in addressing client concerns and providing accurate site updates.
