Job summary

AMD in Penang, Malaysia invites an experienced hardware validation professional to join the SBIO team. This role focuses on building validation platforms and debugging complex issues spanning hardware and software, collaborating with design and firmware to define validation plans and execute on emulation platforms.

The candidate will engage with leading emulation vendors, develop pre-silicon models, and drive process improvements while contributing to architecture reviews.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years of hardware prototyping/emulation experience.
• Experience with emulation of full-SoC designs with embedded processors.

Responsibilities

• Develop pre-silicon models using commercial prototyping or emulation platforms.
• Collaborate with design, verification and firmware teams to debug issues on prototyping and emulation platforms.
• Improve internal flows and processes.
• Innovate in emulation and contribute to architecture reviews and planning.
