Job summary

Multitrade Asiapac Sdn. Bhd. in Penang is seeking a Senior Siemens PCS 7 Engineer to lead BMS system design, configuration, testing, FAT/SAT, and site commissioning for industrial automation projects.

You will review specs, size and configure systems, coordinate with customers and vendors, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring quality and on-time delivery across Malaysia and overseas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline as listed above.
• 3–7 years of experience in engineering and commissioning of industrial automation or DCS.
• Hands-on Siemens SIMATIC PCS 7 engineering, configuration, testing, and commissioning experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of FMCS, WinCC OA, and SIP/SIS systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, specs, and customer requirements and seek clarifications as needed.
• Develop control philosophies, system schemes, and obtain customer approval.
• Prepare system architecture, communication architecture, and software license requirements.
• Configure and supervise PCS 7 engineering, testing, FAT/SAT, and site commissioning.
• Liaise with customers, consultants, vendors, and internal teams for coordination and approvals.
• Lead engineering activities and mentor junior engineers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
