Job summary

Globetronics Technology Berhad is seeking a Production Officer in Penang to support daily semiconductor manufacturing operations. You will ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and in accordance with quality standards, working with Production, Engineering and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, manufacturing or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and work across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production operations to meet plans, output, quality and delivery targets.
• Monitor production performance metrics (yield, OEE, cycle time, downtime, WIP).
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials and workflow for smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Identify abnormalities and drive root-cause analysis with CAPA when needed.
• Support process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production records and daily KPI reports.
