Job summary

Wilmar Palm Product Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to safeguard site operations and assets. You will develop security plans, manage daily security activities, and supervise junior staff, emphasising risk assessment and emergency preparedness.

Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, plus a Diploma in Security Management or Criminology, are required for this role. Prior manufacturing security experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily security operations at the Wilmar Palm Products Sdn. Bhd. (WPP) site.
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols to mitigate risks and prevent security breaches.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
• Supervise and train junior security staff, providing guidance on best practices in security management, emergency response, and incident handling.
• Manage access control systems, monitor surveillance feeds, and respond promptly to alarms and security incidents.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services during critical incidents or investigations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed security logs, incident reports, and other documentation as required.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and company policies.
• Patrol the premises regularly to detect and deter unauthorized activities, ensuring a visible security presence.
• Respond to and manage emergency situations, including fire, medical emergencies, and security threats, following established emergency response plans.
