Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Security Officer to oversee the security of factory, office and premises. You will monitor CCTV, manage access for visitors and vehicles, and coordinate guards while responding to incidents and emergencies.

You should have 2–3 years in security or related fields, plus a basic knowledge of workplace safety and emergency response; shift work including weekends and public holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in security, safety, enforcement, factory or related fields.
• Experience in factory/manufacturing/F&B environment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of workplace safety, fire safety and emergency response.
• Experience in CCTV monitoring, access control and security patrols.
• Able to manage and coordinate security personnel.
• Good observation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, alert and physically fit.
• Able to handle emergency situations calmly and professionally.
• Able to work independently and make appropriate decisions when required.
• Willing to work shift, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Basic computer skills for preparing reports and maintaining records.
• Security-related certification / training is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle security incidents, emergencies and prepare incident reports.

• Report any security risks, unsafe conditions or suspicious activities to Management.

The Security Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining the overall security and safety of the company premises, employees, visitors, vehicles and company assets.
