Job summary

Dpstar Thermo Control Electric Sdn Bhd is seeking an Executive/Senior Executive/Asst. Manager - Sales to drive growth from Kuala Lumpur HQ and Penang branch. The role focuses on selling ABB products and delivering technical solutions, while building relationships with Chinese-speaking clients.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of sales experience in engineering or related fields and strong communication and presentation skills. Willingness to travel and work independently is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in engineering, electrical, automation, or industrial products.
• ABB products and solutions experience highly preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Mandarin-speaking candidates preferred due to Chinese-speaking clients.
• Willing to travel for client meetings and business development.
• Able to work independently and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Promote and develop core products, particularly ABB products and solutions.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, especially Chinese-speaking clients.
• Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Prepare quotations, sales proposals, forecasts, and regular sales reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Keep updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
• Support and guide junior sales team members.
