Job summary
Randstad Malaysia is seeking a high-visibility sales professional to drive regional business growth in industrial automation. You will manage major key accounts, pitch advanced automation solutions, and mentor junior sales engineers across Malaysia and neighboring regions.
The role requires 3–5 years of B2B technical sales experience, strong PLC/SCADA knowledge, and travel across assigned regions. You will lead negotiations and accelerate market share with top brands.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
- 3–5 years of proven B2B technical sales experience in the industrial automation sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, sensors, and control systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and key account management skills.
- Must own a vehicle and be willing to travel within assigned regions.
Responsibilities
- Hunt for high-value business opportunities and manage major key accounts.
- Pitch advanced automation solutions, including PLCs, SCADA, sensors, and robotics.
- Visit client sites across assigned regions to consult on technical needs and complex projects.
- Lead commercial negotiations, finalize contracts, and consistently exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal product specialists and guide junior sales engineers.
