Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer - RF Antenna & Connector (Hybrid) to support IoT customers and channel partners.

You will provide technical product selection advice, design-in assistance, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, engineering, and marketing to drive design-wins and growth across APAC. Travel 25-50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years direct customer-facing technical experience.
• Strong knowledge of RF, antennas and connectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for new products based on customer applications.
• Conduct VOC sessions to determine requirements for development and design-in.
• Translate opportunities into technical and commercial wins with internal teams.
• Understand existing product portfolios for customer applications.
• Adhere to applicable industry standards (IEC, UL, etc.).
• Address technical complaints with TE engineering and quality teams.
• Develop product/technology roadmaps with Product Management.
• Collaborate with regional Account Managers to convert opportunities.
• Drive pipeline growth across responsible customers.
