Job summary

Quectel Wireless Solutions Penang Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a skilled RF Engineer to support hardware development across 2G/3G/4G/5G and other wireless modules. You will design RF parts, tune circuits, and ensure compliance with 3GPP test cases while collaborating with HW, product, and certification teams.

The role requires 3–5 years of GSM/WCDMA/LTE RF experience, a strong RF theory background, and good English communication. Penang-based, with an emphasis on teamwork under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in communication, electronics, radio, microwave, automation, etc.
• Familiar with RF schematic design, PCB decoration, circuit debugging.
• At least 3–5 years GSM/WCDMA/LTE RF design and debugging experience; Qualcomm platform is a plus.
• Strong understanding of RF theory and LTE/LTE-A principles.
• Proficient in English reading/writing; oral English preferred.
• Good team spirit, proactive, able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for RF hardware development support in debugging and resolving on 2G/3G/4G/5G/CAT-M/NB-IoT/GNSS/Wi‑Fi modules.
• Provide reliable design solutions considering market competitors and product line requirements.
• Design and create SCH and PCB for RF parts and participate in tuning/matching for 3GPP test compliance.
• Support RF issues in cost-down, product lines, and certification processes.
• Coordinate between HW-Development, Product Development, Certification, Sales, and FAE teams.
• Support production line issues including problem reporting and synchronization.
