Job summary
Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced RF planning and optimization engineer to support radio network design, installation, and performance optimization for 4G/LTE and other wireless systems.
You will analyze coverage, capacity, EF planning, and KPI-driven optimization, and collaborate with project managers and senior stakeholders. The role requires a bachelor’s in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, or related field and at least five years
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of designing and deploying 4G/LTE networks.
- Strong fundamentals in LTE/WCDMA/GSM/EDGE systems.
- Experience with multi-vendor wireless equipment operation and network optimization.
Responsibilities
- Support radio network planning & optimization for GSM/CDMA2000+EVDO/UMTS+HSPA/WiMAX/LTE.
- Provide radio coverage, capacity dimensioning, EF planning, and KPI-driven optimization.
- Assist in performance negotiations with operators and participate in acceptance procedures.
- Write guidelines for radio network planning & optimization projects.
