Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an Associate Senior Manager - Retail Planning (Leasing) to lead market research and provide insights for new shopping mall developments in Malaysia. You will study layouts, liaise with project teams, and formulate retail concepts and trade mix to fit mall positioning.

Responsibilities include developing projected rentals to meet budgets, analyzing market trends, identifying lease spaces for asset enhancement, and reviewing leasing and implementation schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail planning & consulting, property management, and shopping mall environment involvement in asset enhancement.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Study and review architect drawings for layout design, public facilities/amenities, M&E provision and structural design.
• Liaise with project team on feasibility and limitations of proposed shopping mall.
• Study surrounding developments to formulate suitable concepts and trade mix.
• Formulate and develop projected rentals to meet investment budgets for new malls.
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify value-adding opportunities.
