Job summary

Sunway Malls in Malaysia seeks a senior Retail Planning & Consulting professional to shape the concept and positioning of new mall developments. You will study layouts, perform market research, and develop rental projections to meet investment budgets.

Responsibilities include liaising with project teams, analyzing surrounding developments, creating the optimal trade mix, and leading a small team to deliver asset-enhancement insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in retail planning & consulting.
• Experience in property management and mall environments.
• Knowledge of market research for malls and retail demand.
• Ability to reassess market positioning to maximize value.
• Understanding of mall building design and layout.
• Knowledge of rental evaluation and projection.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven leadership and teamwork capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Study architectural drawings for layout design and M&E provision.
• Coordinate with project team on feasibility and limitations.
• Analyze surrounding developments to define concept and trade mix.
• Develop projected rental to meet investment budgets.
