Job summary

SUMITOMO MITSUI BANKING CORPORATION MALAYSIA BERHAD is seeking a senior credit and relationship support professional to assist the Relationship Manager in managing client relationships, preparing credit propositions, monitoring and reviews, and addressing ad-hoc requests with a focus on timely execution.

The role may involve guiding ARMs, coordinating with Credit Control and Risk teams, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in business, finance, economics or related field.
• At least 15 years of corporate banking experience including credit writing, financial analysis, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Manager in managing client relationships and credit-related matters, including preparation of credit propositions, monitoring, and reviews.
• Lead and guide ARMs as needed; coordinate with Credit Control, Credit Risk and Regional Credit Departments.
• Ensure timely submissions and adherence to credit controls and internal procedures.
