Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead design, implementation, and oversight of the group’s regulatory and governance programs.

You will partner with senior management, the legal team, and the company secretary to ensure full compliance with Bursa Malaysia listing requirements and applicable laws. The role covers ESG reporting, data protection (PDPA) compliance, internal control improvements, and risk management across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law or related field required.
• Certifications in ICA, CIPP/E or CIA are advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years in corporate compliance, governance or risk mgmt.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English with strong stakeholder mgmt.
• Experience with Bursa Malaysia listing requirements or regulated env.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and refine corporate compliance framework and controls.
• Conduct risk-based evaluations, track weaknesses, and oversee remediation.
• Report findings and strategic recommendations to executives and committees.
• Oversee Bursa Malaysia regulatory adherence, filings, and calendars.
• Coordinate corporate secretarial duties and governance documentation.
• Lead ESG strategy, disclosures, and annual reporting processes.
• Serve as DPO for PDPA compliance and privacy governance.
• Coordinate internal audit scope, data requests, and management responses.
• Oversee contracts lifecycle and licensing regimes; support legal reviews.
• Mentor Compliance Officer and provide practical compliance counsel.
