Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia is seeking an experienced Reconciliations Lead to manage day-to-day processing of reconciliations for asset servicing. You will ensure accurate data, highlight breaks, and drive improvements across controls and stakeholder engagements.

The role requires 5–8 years in financial services operations with custody/back-office experience and strong communication skills. Working hours align with Europe region needs, with Malaysia time adjustments as required.

Qualifications

5-8 years of financial services industry experience in an operations environment.
Custody and Banking experience in operations/back office with good reconciliations knowledge.
Extensive operational knowledge in Transaction Management, Corporate Actions, Foreign Exchange, Cash Payments, Fund Accounting or equivalent.
Superior communication, presentation, negotiation, interpersonal and networking skills with a proven track record of dealing with clients and senior management.
Track record of developing and implementing innovation and change with strong business acumen and profit orientation.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage day-to-day reconciliations processing, ensuring risks are identified and highlighted.
Coordinate with Risk & Compliance to implement operations controls.
Drive collaboration with product, relationship managers and oversight teams to ensure client service quality.
Monitor and close aged breaks, escalate when necessary and maintain data integrity.
Provide leadership to the team, manage capacity and support change/people agendas.
