Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• More than 8 years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of complex, production‑grade systems or platforms.
• Experience in software architecture, solution design, and leading implementations across multiple layers.
• Strong object‑oriented programming, abstraction, systems thinking, problem‑solving, and software design skills.
• Hands‑on backend development with C# and .NET, or equivalent enterprise stack.
• Hands‑on frontend development with TypeScript/JavaScript and frameworks like Angular or React.
• Experience designing versioned REST APIs and integration contracts.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, and data‑intensive application design.
• Experience with architecture patterns for modularity, scalability, security, testability, and maintainability.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and incident troubleshooting.
• Ability to evaluate tech options, build prototypes, and present clear recommendations.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end solution architecture across web apps, backend services, APIs, data access, and security.
• Translate complex problems into scalable designs, roadmaps, and clear engineering decisions.
• Lead architecture reviews; document decisions, trade‑offs, risks, and migration plans.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and platform capabilities through prototypes and experiments.
• Define technology evolution paths balancing near‑term delivery with long‑term goals.
• Establish reusable architectures, API patterns, coding standards, and guardrails.
• Design and develop production‑grade interfaces, services, data layers, and secure APIs.
• Deliver dashboards, analyses, alerts, and AI‑enabled decision support in workflows.
• Maintain non‑functional requirements: performance, security, reliability, observability, production support.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and best practices.
• Collaborate with product, data, UX, security, and operations to align tech with user value.
• Remain hands‑on in development, prototyping, integration, testing, and deployment.
