Job summary

Coscolab Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior R&D Chemist to join our R&D team to develop and improve cosmetic and personal care formulations and oversee trials through production. The role requires 3–5 years of experience in cosmetics R&D, hands-on formulation skills, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with QA/QC, Production, Purchasing and Sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in cosmetic/personal care R&D or formulation.
• Hands-on experience with skincare, hair care, body care or cleansing products.
• Good knowledge of cosmetic raw materials and formulation principles.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects; good documentation.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of NPRA requirements and cosmetic GMP is an advantage.
• OEM/ODM experience is an added advantage.
