The role focuses on maintaining product quality, recording test results, and implementing corrective actions while leading the QA/QC team in a fast-paced construction environment in Malaysia.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the quality assurance and quality control of ready-mixed concrete to meet established standards and customer requirements.
• Monitor and improve product quality, production efficiency and overall performance.
• Prepare and review concrete mix designs to meet customer requirements and cost objectives.
• Supervise and coordinate all QA/QC activities, including laboratory testing and site inspections.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of quality records, test results and reports.
• Identify and resolve quality issues through appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and testing instruments.
• Handle customer complaints and provide technical support on concrete quality matters.
• Lead and supervise the QA/QC team to ensure effective execution of quality control activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Any other tasks and assignments as and when assigned by the Management and Superior.
