Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Senior Contract Executive / Senior Quantity Surveyor based in Penang to lead procurement, cost control, and full-cycle contract administration for upcoming high-rise developments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field and at least 4 years of contract administration experience, with exposure to high-rise projects. Strong tendering and consultant management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building/Construction Management or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in contract administration and quantity surveying, preferably in property development.
• Hands-on exposure to high-rise building projects.
• Strong grasp of contract forms, tendering, variation orders, and consultant agreements.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Contract & Tender Management: prepare tender docs, BQ, RFPs, contract conditions; assist in cost estimation and VE.
• Tender Evaluation & Award: support evaluations, pricing negotiations, LOA recommendations.
• Consultant Procurement & Coordination: assist in sourcing and negotiating consultant agreements; monitor deliverables.
• Post-Contract Administration: oversee progress claims, VOs, EOT, and final accounts.
• Cost Control & Governance: monitor cash flows and provide cost reports to prevent budget overruns.
• Contractual Correspondence & Dispute Resolution: draft correspondence; assist in settlements and close-outs.
