R&F Development Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works, preferably in high-rise residential developments. You will oversee tendering, cost control, and project cost management to ensure projects are delivered within budget and in compliance with contractual requirements.

Qualificações

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in property development or consultancy.
• Strong experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works is essential, particularly in cost estimation, tendering, variation orders, payment claims, and final accounts.
• Experience in high-rise residential development and prior experience with property developers is an advantage.
• Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Tender Management: Prepare/review tender documents, Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, and tender evaluations for M&E works; support negotiations and award recommendations.
• Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor costs, analyze prices, and identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.
• Variation & Claims Management: Assess variation claims, evaluate cost implications, coordinate with consultants/contractors to resolve discrepancies.
• M&E Quantity Surveying: Review M&E quantities, specs, drawings, and quotations for accurate pricing and cost assessment.
• Consultant & Contractor Coordination: Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams on tender, payment claims, variations, and contracts.
• Project Monitoring & Reporting: Attend site valuations/meetings; monitor cost performance; provide progress and cost reports.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure contract documentation and compliance with procedures and statutory standards.
