Job summary

UA Materials Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Perai, Penang team on a full-time basis. You will prepare cost estimates, manage budgets, and provide financial and contractual guidance across construction projects.

Key responsibilities include tender documentation, budget monitoring, contract review, and cost reporting to ensure profitability and on-time delivery. Malaysian regulations knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying from a recognised institution.
• 3–5 years of relevant construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender docs.
• Manage project budgets and monitor expenditure.
• Review contracts and provide financial guidance.
• Certify payments and maintain project accounts.
• Liaise with stakeholders to advise on cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct site measurements to verify progress.
