Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in civil, infrastructure, or building works to manage sub-contract tenders, payments, site evaluations, and variation orders. The role covers cost control from tender to final account and requires expertise in value engineering and budget setting.

The successful candidate will prepare procurement documents, monthly progress payments, and ensure accurate final measurement and accounts, contributing to project cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building Survey / Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in civil, infrastructure or building works.
• Strong taking-off and contracts administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sub-contract tender document for procurement, evaluation report and Letter of Award to successful sub-contractors.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress payment.
• Attend to site evaluation / joint measurement.
• Review, recommend, certify and check balance of sub-contractors payment. Prepare and submit variation order and claims.
• Prepare final measurement and account.
• Assist in value engineering, cost optimization and budget setting.
