The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying and substantial construction experience, with strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills. Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Chinese language proficiency is expected.

Responsibilities

• Track project costs against budgets and forecast future expenses.
• Identify and raise potential cost overruns and contractual issues.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation.

What you'll be doing?

Manage Quantity-Surveying: Independently oversee all quantity-surveying activities from tender to final account.

Prepare Financial Documentation: Develop and review cost estimates, budgets, and cash-flow forecasts.

Tender Coordination: Draft tender documents and assess quotations.

Contractual Oversight: Administer agreements and coordinate with subcontractors.

Cost Monitoring: Track project costs against budgets and forecast future expenses.

Risk Management: Identify and raise potential cost overruns and contractual issues.

Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation.

Team Guidance: Support and mentor junior team members.
