Job summary

CTRM Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified Quality Engineer to lead quality functions in our manufacturing operations, driving process effectiveness and continuous improvement to meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, at least 3 years’ hands-on manufacturing experience, and strong knowledge of quality tools (8D, FMEA, DMAIC, PDCA) with ISO 9001/AS 9100/NADCAP awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality tools: 8D, FMEA, APQP, DMAIC, PDCA.
• Familiar with ISO 9001, AS/EN 9100 (Aerospace) or NADCAP is a plus.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality functions to meet customer requirements, achieve quality objectives, ensure process effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor internal product quality metrics, including FPY, MQ, and CQ.
• Conduct scheduled product and process audits to verify compliance with specifications, quality standards, and the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Lead MRB and coordinate root‑cause problem‑solving activities using structured methodologies (8D, DMAIC, PDCA).
• Manage external quality performance metrics, customer complaints, NOE, and concession requests.
• Oversee product compliance activities, including Process Qualification, FAI, Process Compliance Assessments, and C of C.
• Generate and present regular Quality Reports, elevate critical quality matters to senior management, and promote quality awareness across departments.
• Initiate and participate in major company‑wide quality programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
