Job summary

Leong Hup International Berhad is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for a Dressing Plant based in Central Luzon, Philippines. The role oversees QA from live receiving through packing and ensures strict food safety standards and regulatory compliance.

You will develop and implement HACCP, FSSC 22000, and GMP systems, coordinate NMIS inspections, and lead audits with a focus on CAPA and continuous improvement. relocation to Central Luzon is expected for overseas candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Food Technology/Science etc.).
• Minimum 10 years QA experience with 3+ years in management in poultry dressing/meat operations.
• Experience with HACCP/FSSC 22000 cert processes; NMIS familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA function for poultry dressing plant operations from live receiving to packing.
• Develop and maintain HACCP, FSSC 22000, GMP systems and documentation.
• Ensure NMIS regulatory compliance and coordinate inspections/audits.
• Oversee CCPs across the dressing line and drive CAPA for deviations.
• Oversee QA testing and coordinate with labs for results.
• Lead internal and external audits and close findings timely.
• Train and supervise QA staff and inspectors on the production floor.
• Liaise with regulators and internal departments on quality matters.
• Maintain QA policies, SOPs, and records for audit readiness.
• Support new product development and process changes from QA perspective.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Veterinary Medicine, Microbiology, or a related field
