Job summary

Dell Technologies Malaysia is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. You will learn and apply basic QA practices, assist with inspections and reporting, and develop foundational QA skills while contributing to team objectives.

Responsibilities include driving quality metrics, conducting inspections, and supporting new product introductions with cross-functional teams. Strong programming knowledge and QA tooling will be an advantage.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant manufacturing quality experience with a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong knowledge in quality concepts/tools and programming.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You will:

Drive Quality Metrics: Monitor and analyse quality metrics to track the effectiveness of QA processes and drive continuous improvement

Perform Inspections and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and quality assurance testing on finished products.

Improvise Quality Control Process: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement effective quality control process.

Support New Product Introductions: Work closely with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure quality standards are met during new product introductions.

Quality Tool Maintenance and Development – Develop and maintain quality management tools to streamline quality processes and support data-driven decision-making.

Experience: 4 - 6 years of relevant manufacturing quality with a Bachelor’s Degree.

Technical Skills – Possess strong knowledge in quality concepts/tools and strong knowledge in programming.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve quality issues.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Reporting & Analytic: Proficiency with MS Office for reporting and documentation.Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.

Exposure to quality systems or audits.

Proficient in C#/ASP.NET Core, RESTful API design, SQL Server, Git, and MVC architecture, with strong skills in writing clean, maintainable code and full-stack troubleshooting will be an added advantage.
