Job summary

Dell Technologies in Penang is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to develop and apply QA practices, inspections, and testing to ensure product quality across stages from design to delivery.

You will drive metrics, analyze results, and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to uphold high quality standards for new products and existing lines in Bukit Mertajam, Penang.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of quality and coding experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
• Strong knowledge in quality concepts/tools and programming.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration.
• MS Office proficiency; Power BI knowledge is advantageous.

• Drive Quality Metrics: Monitor and analyze quality metrics to track the effectiveness of QA processes and drive continuous improvement
• Perform Inspections and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and quality assurance testing on finished products.
• Improvise Quality Control Process: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement effective quality control process.
• Support New Product Introductions: Work closely with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure quality standards are met during new product introductions.
• Quality Tool Maintenance and Development - Develop and maintain quality management tools to streamline quality processes and support data-driven decision-making.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience: 3 - 5 years of relevant quality and coding experiencewith a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Technical Skills – Possess strong knowledge in quality concepts/tools and strong knowledge in programming
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Reporting & Analytic: Proficiency with MS Office for reporting and documentation.Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.

Desirable Requirements:

• Exposure to quality systems or audits.
• Proficient in C#/ASP.NET Core, RESTful API design, SQL Server, Git, and MVC architecture, with strong skills in writing clean, maintainable code and full-stack troubleshooting will be an added advantage.
