Job summary

SCIENTE is seeking a Senior QA Automation Test Analyst in Kuala Lumpur to design and implement robust automation frameworks and scripts. You will develop test cases from user stories, execute automation work within sprint plans and select appropriate tools to meet testing needs.

You will also analyze results, troubleshoot defects and drive improved test coverage. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software testing, strong Python, Selenium and Appium skills, and a solid understanding of automation

We are seeking for a Senior QA Automation Test Analyst to design and develop automation frameworks, create test scripts and implement effective automation testing strategies. The successful candidate will analyse test results, troubleshoot defects and enhance test coverage to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing or automation testing;
• Expertise in writing Python scripts and familiarity with Selenium and Appium;
• Strong knowledge of automation framework development, maintenance and implementation;
• Ability to design automation test cases based on user stories and system enhancements;
• Experience developing, executing and maintaining automation test scripts;
• Ability to analyse automation test results, identify root causes and troubleshoot technical issues;
• Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, LoadRunner or mobile testing tools;
• Ability to develop automation test strategies, recommend suitable frameworks and propose technical solutions;
• Experience in regression testing, test reporting and defect management;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
• Basic knowledge of insurance concepts and insurance systems;
• Good attention to detail, accountability and organisational skills.
