Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Executive to join its commercial and contract management team. You will support full-lifecycle contract administration, procurement, and project cost control across prime property developments and high-rise projects.

The role involves pre- and post-contract duties, cost management, governance, and close collaboration with internal project teams and external consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of contract administration, quantity surveying, or procurement experience within property development or consultancy firms.
• Proven track record in pre- and post-contract operations for high-rise residential and mixed-use commercial developments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-contract procurement administration, reviewing tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BQ), RFPs, and draft Letters of Award (LOA).
• Support cost estimation, project budgeting, and Value Engineering (VE) exercises to optimize project expenditure.
• Administer post-contract operations including evaluation of Variation Orders (VO), RFV, EOT claims, and final account closures.
• Maintain and monitor updated registers for LOA, Performance Bonds, Insurance Policies, and Warranties, ensuring governance compliance.
• Collaborate with internal Project, Finance, and Site teams, and with external Consultants and Contractors to ensure audit-ready documentation.

Driven by operational excellence and innovation, they are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Executive to join their commercial and contract management team, supporting full-lifecycle contract administration, procurement, and project cost control.

About the Job

• Pre-Contract & Procurement Administration: Assist in the preparation, review, and checking of tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BQ), RFPs, and draft Letters of Award (LOA). Coordinate tender clarifications, tender comparison reports, and consultant appointment/fee documentation.
• Cost Management & Control: Support cost estimation, project budgeting, and Value Engineering (VE) exercises to optimize project expenditure. Monitor project cost plans, commitments, and verify consultant and contractor interim payment claims and final account closures.
• Post-Contract Administration: Administer post-contract operations including the evaluation of Variation Orders (VO), requests for variation (RFV), extension of time (EOT) claims, and contract close-outs.
• Contractual Compliance & Governance: Maintain and monitor updated registers for Letters of Award, Performance Bonds, Insurance Policies, and Warranties, ensuring all contractual documentation strictly complies with company standard operating procedures and statutory governance.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal Project, Finance, and Site teams, as well as external Consultants (Architects, C&S, M&E) and Contractors to ensure smooth project progression and audit-ready documentation.
