Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd in Ipoh is seeking an experienced Internal Audit & Customer Audit Manager (QMS) to lead our internal audit program and drive customer audit success across cross-functional operations.

The role emphasizes ISO/IATF standards, corrective actions, and continuous quality improvement. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 8+ years in QMS with auditing experience, plus 2–3 years in a leadership role, and strong stakeholder engagement across Operations, Quality,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
8+ years in QMS, with proven Internal & 2nd-Party Auditing experience.
2–3 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Responsibilities

Internal Audit Management: develop and execute annual risk-based internal audit plan.
Customer & 2nd-Party Audit Management: liaise for customer, certification body, and regulatory audits.
Corrective Actions & Problem-Solving: drive root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, A3) for nonconformities.
QMS Compliance & Strategic Improvement: maintain documentation and monitor KPIs; report trends.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: lead Audit team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
