Job summary

Monoluxury Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a QA/QC Executive to ensure quality standards at our packhouse and farms. The role oversees Food Safety and Quality Management System implementation and reports to the Food Safety Manager (HQ).

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement in packaging and farming operations in Cameron Highlands/Genting Highlands, Pahang.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality management in food industry or packing/farming.
• Malaysian citizen responsible for halal compliance.
• Knowledge of QA/QC and/or production preferred.
• Understand food safety, GMP and Halal.
• Willing to work in Cameron Highlands/Genting Highlands, Pahang.

Responsibilities

• Write, implement, review and maintain SOPs, policies and other QA/Food Safety documentation.
• Perform receiving inspection and data collection of incoming materials on FIFO basis.
• Evaluate and qualify new produces from suppliers not on Approved Suppliers List.
• Conduct quality checks for produces packed by packhouse team.
• Maintain FIFO practices for goods in warehouse and finished goods.
• Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports through data review audits.
• Involve in Food Safety/HACCP/GMP/MyGAP implementation and verification.
• Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance and identify improvements.
• Liaise with government/certification bodies on operational matters at Packhouse.
• Address non-conformances and ensure recertification in a timely manner.
• Support Food Safety Manager with customer audits and regulatory inspections.
• Drive continuous improvement and quality projects at packhouse.
• Train packhouse workers on quality topics including food safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

As a QA/QC Executive, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the quality standards are met with optimal quality at our packhouse & farms. He/She will be overseeing the implementation of Food Safety and Quality Management System and reporting findings to Food Safety Manager (HQ). The candidate should possess good communication skills with the ability to pay a close eye for detail. He/She should maintain safety conditions and passionate for doing work that makes things move forward.

Responsibilities

• Write, implement, review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies and other documentation for QA/Food Safety activities.
• Perform receiving inspection and data collection of incoming materials on FIFO basic.
• To evaluate and qualifying new produces from suppliers not in the Approved Suppliers List.
• Conduct quality check for produces packed by packhouse team.
• Perform check and balance for implementation of FIFO practices for goods in warehouse and finished goods.
• To prepare weekly and monthly quality report by performing data review audits (packing quality, cleaning & sanitation program, maintenance records as per schedule).
• To involve in the implementation and verification of Food Safety/HACCP/GMP/MyGAP within the company.
• To involve in performing internal and external audits to determine compliance to Food Safety/HACCP/GMP and identify areas for improvement.
• Liaison with government and/or certification bodies in relevant to Food Safety/HACCP/GMP/MyGAP on operational matters at Packhouse.
• To reply the non-conformance (NC) and ensure the recertification been done in timely manner.
• To support the Food Safety Manager with hosting customer audits and regulatory inspections.
• To drive continuous improvement and quality projects at packhouse.
• Assist to maintain and deliver training in quality related topics to packhouse workers including food safety training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Microbiology/Food Technology/Science or equivalent.

Required Skills

• At least 3 years of quality management experiences in food industry/packing house/farming.
• Malaysian citizen who is responsible in halal compliance of the company.
• Preferably with basic knowledge of QA/QC and/or Production.
• Understand food safety and quality management, GMP and Halal.
• Knowledge of handling QC of goods receiving.
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysia Halal System Management and Quality standards.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Cameron Highlands/Genting Highlands, Pahang.
