Job summary

AME Construction Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Senior QA/QC Engineer to lead quality control efforts on industrial and commercial projects in Malaysia.

You will develop project-specific QC plans, review drawings, perform material inspections, witness tests, and document test records to ensure compliance with standards. The position requires 3–7 years in QA/QC, preferably in industrial buildings, with strong attention to detail and solid analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–7 years QA/QC experience in industrial buildings.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and documentation systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific Quality Control Plans.
• Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and requirements to ensure compliance.
• Conduct material inspections, witness tests, and ensure proper documentation (e.g., Material Approval Requests, Inspection Test Plans).
• Perform regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with project and regulatory standards.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams regarding quality matters.
• Prepare quality documentation and reports, including inspection reports, test records, and certificates.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Provide training to project teams on quality procedures and best practices.
