Job summary

NTT DATA Payment Services in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced QA Manager to lead testing strategy and drive automation across multiple software projects. You will oversee end-to-end test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting while coaching the QA team to improve quality standards.

The role requires 7–9 years in software testing and QA management, with DevOps/CI/CD experience and familiarity with ISO 9001 or TMMi frameworks. Financial services exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering; ISTQB is a plus.
• 7-9 years in software testing and QA management, incl. automation, DevOps and CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC and Agile practices.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or TMMi frameworks; leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, testing standards, and processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Lead end-to-end testing activities, including test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting across multiple projects.
• Manage and coach QA team members, providing guidance on testing best practices, automation, and quality standards.
• Oversee test automation frameworks, testing tools, and configuration management to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and business partners to ensure alignment on testing objectives and quality outcomes.
• Monitor quality metrics, analyze testing results, identify risks, and drive continuous process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and quality management frameworks.
