Job summary

Myamax Precision Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd in Melaka is seeking a seasoned quality professional to implement and maintain the quality control system within the company’s QMS. You will drive continuous improvement, conduct RCA/CAPA, and support customer complaints with technical investigations.

Work closely with plating suppliers to enhance process capability, review plating parameters, and lead internal ISO audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in metal finishing, surface treatment, machining or manufacturing.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 and 14001, internal audits, and quality tools (FMEA, SPC, 8D, DMAIC).
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with production, engineering and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the quality control system within the QMS and suggest improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce quality issues and customer complaints.
• Conduct RCA and implement CAPA for internal and supplier-related issues.
• Support customer complaints with technical investigation and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with plating suppliers to improve process capability and quality.
• Review plating parameters and maintain process control with technicians.
• Prepare quality reports and disposition of non-conforming parts.
• Perform internal quality system audits and line audits of internal processes.
• Guide sub-ordinates in solving technical problems and assess performance.
