Job summary

Myamax Precision Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to evaluate suppliers, perform QA checks on incoming materials, and drive CAPA with external partners. The role requires collaboration with procurement, engineering, and production teams to ensure adherence to quality requirements.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical/engineering background, 2–3 years in metrology, and experience with SPC/FMEA/GD&T.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field).
• 2–3 years of experience in metrology (CMM, Smartscope, roughness tester, etc).
• Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, GD&T, and Control Plans.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or specific industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Supplier audits & assessments to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Quality control & inspection of incoming materials/components.
• Root cause analysis and CAPA with suppliers (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone).
• Supplier development & continuous improvement to enhance product quality.
• Documentation & compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Cross-functional collaboration with procurement, engineering, and production teams.
