Job summary

Standard Chartered is hiring for a Senior QA Automation Engineer in Malaysia. You will execute and automate tests for Java web services, REST APIs, and mobile apps on iOS/Android, while coordinating with product, DevOps, and QA teams.

The role requires strong Agile delivery, communication skills, and experience with Selenium, Java, and ISTQB principles. You will collaborate across locations, maintain quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement while supporting wealth retail

Qualifications

Strong enthusiasm for quality and Agile delivery.
Experience in software delivery, solution design, and stakeholder management.
Ability to perform manual and automation testing.

Responsibilities

Be involved in pre-testing activities to identify requirement/design issues.
Attend daily stand-ups and groom user stories with estimations.
Develop automation tests from manual test cases.
Perform functional/technical test execution including automation.
Log defects in Azure DevOps and track to closure.
Communicate test status and progress with stakeholders.
Adhere to SCB software development processes and quality standards.
Participate in retrospectives and code reviews, ensuring quality and Git pushes.
Collaborate across teams to understand issues and risks.
