Job summary

Zohorecruit is representing a well-established property developer in Johor seeking an Accounts Manager / Assistant Accounts Manager to oversee the full set of accounts and finance operations within a project-based environment.

The role requires an experienced finance professional in the property development industry who can work independently with minimal supervision and may involve leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 5 years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Must have experience in property development industry (mandatory).
• Strong exposure in full set accounts and project-based accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the timely closing of accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for Management and Board review.
• Monitor project costing, development expenditures, and progress billings.
• Manage company cash flow and liquidity position.
• Oversee full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL) and month-end closing process.
• Prepare audit and tax schedules and support annual audit process.
