Job summary

Emerson is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex process-control projects in Malaysia. The role emphasizes strong leadership, cost control, and risk management while coordinating procurement, resources, and stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.

You will drive project planning, manage changes, and ensure safety and quality across sites, with potential hybrid work arrangements in the region.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics/Chemical/Mechanical/Control/Computer Engineering.
Minimum 10 years in the process control industry with at least 5 years in PM roles.
Strong leadership and financial/commercial acumen; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

Ensure customer demands are understood and projects are delivered per expectations.
Coordinate equipment, material and services purchase per contract schedule.
Identify, analyze and respond to project risks and issues.
Manage project status, performance and forecasting reporting to management.
Oversee cost forecasting, tracking and revenue delivery for projects.
Forecast resource needs and build effective project teams.
Coordinate fabrication yard activities and ensure safety/quality standards.
Lead multiple MSS projects to meet specifications and timelines.
