Job summary

Emerson Process Management Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a customer-focused Project Manager to lead complex programs in a fast-paced engineering environment. You will coordinate across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery and profitability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline and at least 5 years of PM experience in industrial manufacturing or EPC sectors, with strong stakeholder management and planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in industrial manufacturing, EPC, flow control, valves, instrumentation, or related industries.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of assigned projects from award through completion per Emerson PMO processes.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, commercial, technical, and quality requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Manage project changes, variation orders, and commercial opportunities to improve profitability.
• Lead customer kick-off meetings, progress reviews, inspections, and closeout activities.
• Build relationships with customers, contractors, and partners through effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Track project KPIs and provide regular status updates to management and customers.
• Ensure accurate project documentation and successful handover.
