Job summary

Tech Mahindra ICT Services ( Malaysia ) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex IT and telecom projects in a global, matrix organization.

The role requires controlling scope, schedules, budgets and quality, while aligning stakeholders and sponsors across multiple business units. The candidate will manage end-to-end project activities from initiation to closure, coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure on-time delivery and customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Experience managing and communicating at senior and executive levels.
• Managed 3 actual projects in telecom/IT domains (networks, cloud, UC&C, contact center, IoT).
• Fluent in Japanese and English (verbal and written).
• Ability to work in a virtual matrix team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Project Charter and obtain sponsor buy-in/sign-off.
• Prepare and maintain the project plan.
• Direct and manage project execution.
• Monitor and control project work.
• Manage change requests and integrate approved ones into the plan.
• Close the project or phase.
• Engage stakeholders and report to the sponsor.
• Clarify contract details and manage variations.
• Handle scope changes using an approved change process.
• Seek opportunities to upsell and deliver value.
