Job summary

ABB in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Project Operations Manager to lead large and medium-sized electrical distribution projects. You will guide the project team, oversee planning, monitor progress, and ensure delivery of contracted deliverables while managing risks and resources in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of project management experience in MV systems, with familiarity in MV switchgear and compact substations for data

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
More than 8 years of project management experience in Electrical Distribution and MV.
Experience with MV switchgear and compact substations for data centers or Oil & Gas.

Responsibilities

Lead project team and establish execution approach to achieve goals.
Monitor planning, progress, and control activities; manage risks and opportunities.
Coordinate with Supply Chain for procurement of services, materials, and equipment.
Serve as key contact for customer escalations and maintain stakeholder relationships.
Ensure adherence to HSE policies throughout the project.
Close out contracts with formal acceptance and final documentation.
