Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Malaysia seeks a senior Project Manager to oversee planning and execution of complex construction projects in Kuala Lumpur. You will define success criteria, develop detailed plans, monitor budgets, and ensure change control is managed with the QS team.

You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with clients and consultants, prepare progress reports, uphold quality and safety standards, and capture learnings in internal knowledge systems to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in managing construction, project management, fit out works, renovation works
• Manage design and site coordination
• Knowledge of local authority requirements for construction

Responsibilities

• Define and support the achievement of project success criteria including time, cost, quality, and performance.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
• Monitor project finances and ensure alignment with budgetary targets with the project quantity surveyor team.
• Manage change control processes and ensure proper documentation.
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all stakeholders.
• Prepare formal project progress reports and other documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and consultants throughout all project stages.
