Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Malaysia seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex, international projects from Kulim. You will ensure quality, cost control, safety and schedule adherence while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and liaising with clients.

The role requires a degree in construction or related field, at least 8 years on large projects in Asia, tendering and contractor management experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction, project management or similar function.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience on large international construction projects in Asia.
• Experience in managing contractors in pre and post contract stages and tendering.
• Ability to lead large multi-disciplined construction teams.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall project management ensuring quality, cost, safety and schedule compliance.
• Establish overall success criteria including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
• Maintain governance, processes and systems across the project.
• Lead the master programme, manpower, materials and plant schedules.
• Interface with client and consultants at all stages.
• Identify opportunities for new business with existing clients.
