Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams on major real estate and infrastructure programmes. You will manage master programmes, monitor progress, and ensure quality, cost, safety and compliance.

The role requires 10–15 years in PM, strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and proficiency with MS Project; English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in project management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies, local construction regulations, HSE standards, contracts and procurement.
• Strong leadership and articulation of project data, updates, red flags to Client senior management
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) is a plus.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project management to ensure quality, cost, statutory compliance, safety, environmental standards, and scheduling requirements are met.
• Manage the implementation of the master programme, including materials and long lead items, ensuring alignment with project milestones and delivery timelines.
• Update and maintain the master programme and ensure short-term programmes are reviewed and communicated effectively to stakeholders.
• Plan and organize statutory inspections and ensure timely approvals.
• Monitor progress and quality through regular updates and collaboration with site teams or contractors.
• Support effective project administration, including documentation, reporting, and issue resolution.
• Oversee and manage external consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure deliverables align with objectives, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
• Facilitate and lead regular project progress meetings with consultants and stakeholders.
• Produce comprehensive project reports and manage schedules using MS Project, Primavera P6, or Excel.
